Symposium–Genocide in Rwanda: Media, Memory, and Denial

The Afro-Romance Institute, Department of Romance Languages and Literatures, The Office of the Vice-Provost of International Programs, The Canadian Consulate in Chicago, The Embassy of Rwanda in Washington D.C., Step Up! Our Projects

Step Up! training teams deliver annual workshops in Rwanda to develop and enhance the trauma counseling skills of counselors, nurses, clergy, and university faculty. Who we are

Step Up! American Association for Rwandan Women is a non-profit organization established in 2004 to assist women and children in Rwanda who survived gender-based and other violence during the genocide of 1994. The organization is led by a board of directors and advisors with experience in grass roots community organizations, education, and mental health and in the Foreign Service.
